The UL22 is a shallow depth, UL listed, ?re signaling device for mass noti?cation & emergency communications. It provides superior voice intelligibility and high ef?ciency performance in a complete, 2' x 2' lay-in ceiling tile replacement loudspeaker system. It has a high durability, powder coated and perforated steel baffle, with a lightweight speaker assembly that includes an 8?, fire retardant speaker with 10 oz. magnet and 4 Watt, 25/70V transformer with rotary tap selector and a line supervision capacitor. By providing high intelligibility, visual appeal and typical Quam reliability, the UL22 is designed for a wide range of demanding applications. The UL22 also provides four (4) seismic tie-off points to comply with local codes in most jurisdictions. The fully assembled, 2' by 2' enclosure of the UL22 can be installed in a ceiling tile grid in a few minutes, which saves installation labor and reduces costs.
