The SSF-SFP-MM1G transceiver is a high-performance, cost-effective optical module designed to support data rates of 1.25 Gbps with a transmission distance up to 550 meters over multimode fiber. It features 850 nm VCSEL laser and a PIN photodetector integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier, housed in a compact form factor measuring 57 mm by 13.7 mm. The module supports dual LC connectors and conforms to the 1000Base-SX standard for short-range connections. Compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472 standards, it includes digital diagnostic monitoring with internal or external calibration. It operates on a single 3.3 V power supply with a 300 mA amperage rating and supports various operating temperature ranges: standard (0 to 70°C), extended (-20 to 85°C), and industrial (-40 to 85°C). This transceiver is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel, switch-to-switch interfaces, switched backplane applications, router/server interfaces, and other optical transmission systems.
