Product Overview
The OpenEye OE-ZIO4EXT External I/O Device allows you to integrate your OpenEye video surveillance system with other systems used by your business to take advantage of the alerting and reporting logic in OpenEye Web Services. With 4-Sensor inputs and 4-Relay outputs, you can both trigger events to input into the OWS ecosystem and send trigger outputs to generate actions in third-party systems. Use cases include receiving alarm events from alarm panels, monitoring contact switches on doors or windows, triggering doors to open remotely or passing a person detected analytic event to another system. The external I/O device can be installed in new or existing deployments, while its single cable connection to the recorder and compact form factor allow it to mount in virtually any installation location. Software version 2.6.10 or above is required for this device.
